You & us - this is your place

It’s your place for creativity, big dreams and collaboration. Your place to discuss and investigate your rights as a young person – and it is a safe place where you can socialise and have fun with your present and future friends.

You have a voice! Here you can use it. We want to give the youth a chance to take the lead, participate and contribute to their society.

The Ukrainian-Danish Youth house is a platform for young people from Ukraine and Denmark that supports youth participation, democracy and creativity. Based in Kyiv, we offer a creative, democratic platform for everyone between 16 and 35 years of age to engage, facilitate and support youth projects and activism across our countries. This is your new international community space for young people from Ukraine and Denmark.

Workshops, social activities, youth festivals, cultural projects and exchange trips will build bridges and friendships from Kyiv to Copenhagen, from Mariupol to Mariager.

Dialogue, new ideas and inspiring meetings are at the core of this new vibrant spot, which is based on the strong belief that everybody can join and get involved.

It’s your place for creativity, big dreams and collaboration. Your place to discuss and investigate your rights as a young person – and it is a safe place where you can hang out and have fun with both your present and future friends.

Danish Cultural Institute (DCI) has a formal guideline for handling all complaints linked to DCI, including programmes in which the institute is the lead partner, counting the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House, the New Democracy Fund, and ArtPower Belarus.

The complaint mechanism is pre-screened to determine if it concerns a sensitive complaint (typically related to corruption, sexual exploitation, abuse or other violations of DCI’s Code of Conduct) or an operational complaint (typically related to DCI’s work, including partnerships and fair collaboration guidelines).
