
Democracy Discussion Club: Education
Are you eager to find out more about democracy? Do you want to improve your English while also meeting interesting new people?
Then come join our Democracy Discussion Club, where you can learn about different aspects of Danish democracy and compare the experience of Ukraine and Denmark. This is not a lecture or public talk – we want to you to share your opinion!
The Club features Matthaeus Zygmunt Pohl – an intern the Danish Embassy in Kyiv and a Bachelor’s student at the University of Copenhagen, who is interested in Eastern European identity, culture, and democratic development.
At our second meeting, Matthaeus will touch on different aspects of education, from introducing the Danish educational system to reflecting on fairness issues and social mobility.
We will also be discussing the role of a university in Denmark and Ukraine as well as what universities currently expect from their students and what they should expect.
When? Tuesday, November 9th, 19:00-20:00
Where? Online (you will receive a link to the event upon registration)
For whom? University and high school students who can speak in English and are interested in discussing democracy
In what language? The event will be held in English (translation services will not be provided)
