Life in a folk high school: a view from the inside
Studying in Danish folk high schools is like one non-stop holiday. There are no grades, classes are often held outside, students sing in the school choir and have fun activities with their teachers over the weekend.
At the previous meeting we talked about the general concept and history of the højskole movement in Denmark. And this time you will learn firsthand what it is like to live and study in the modern folk high school.
We have invited the graduates of two such schools, who will share their own experience and impressions of studying in folk high schools from two perspectives - Ukrainian and Danish.
You will learn about the daily agenda, types of courses, non-formal approaches to education, traditions and stories from the life of students, and you will be able to ask questions!
The event will take place online, on February 17 at 19:00.
It will be held in English with simultaneous translation to Ukrainian.
