18 million for a new Youth House in Kyiv

A new Ukrainian Danish Youth House will open in Kyiv in 2021.

There is much at stake in Ukraine. Besides being in armed conflict, the country is undergoing massive reforms, which aim to strengthen democracy and human rights and create sustainable growth. And here the youth is essential.

To support young peoples possibilities to increase the impact on their future, the Neighborhood Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has granted 24 million in total to promote engagement and participation among young people in Ukraine. 18 million are used for the establishment of an Ukrainian Danish Youth House. This project is done by The Danish Youth Council and The Danish Cultural Institute.
